Electrical and Photoluminescent Technology: The Best of Both Worlds
Building on years of experience in photoluminescent Safety Signage and Low Location Lighting (LLL), we have combined two proven technologies in our SafeSign LED Escape Signs. Under normal conditions, the signs are powered by energy-efficient LED lighting. In the event of a power failure, the photoluminescent material continues to glow, ensuring that escape routes remain clearly visible without electricity. This unique technology uses the integrated LED lighting to continuously charge the photoluminescent material, enhancing its luminance and ensuring reliable visibility when it matters most.
The combined LED and photoluminescent version is available exclusively as a single-sided sign. Both the green safety background and the escape symbol remain clearly visible for more than three hours after the power supply is interrupted. The photoluminescent option is available at an additional cost.
